Yue Hwa Chinese Products
map

A newly opened Chinese product department store. They have a classic Chinese furniture display on the 2/F. The display room is packed with different types of old Chinese furniture made of rosewood and blackwood, feeling like a Chinese restaurant in Ching Dynasty. They are in deep discount but you may worry how to take them back to your home country. Make an inquiry of shipping arrangement. The staff members may be able to help you.

Go to list of other Shops selling other Chinese Traditional Products

In the same display room, you will also see a thousand-armed, thousand-eyed Guanyin (the official name is Avalokiteshvara) made of porcelain. This may not be easily found even in Hollywood Road. In other floors, you can find other very traditional Chinese products such as hair pens (min fang shi bao) 15% off and Chinese dolls with Chinese Emperor figure, etc.

A particular section is occupied by the famous Shou Shan Stones (a kind of jade stone) 15% off. The same type of jade stone can also be found in the nearby CRC department store and in even 40% discount. However, because each stone is so unique that you cannot make comparison. You may not find exactly the same in other stores. A word of advice: like buying antiques on Hollywood Road, unless you have the expertise and knowledge for the item, do not pay too high a price. Think carefully how much it might worth and just pay what you are comfortable with.

On another floors, there is a display of 18 Luohan jade stone, small in size but very delicate. A dedicated floor is for Chinese clothing like embroidery. Ladies must love it. Chinese long dress (or qi-bao) and Men's jacket are very popular among westerners. You can even have their tailor made service. But it may take some time to deliver. You can also buy Chinese Men's hat with an interest spot in the middle. All Products are in opening discount. It is not guaranteed that it will last long. So go sooner.
