Le Fauchon in Elgin - Last year around September, a second line Le Fauchon was opened. Just like Emporio Armani is the second liner (or "poorer cousin") of Giorgio Armani, Elgin Le Fauchon is cheaper than the one on Staunton, though the quality of food is not really worsen. It serves mainly meat, salad and spaghetti. An affordable set lunch of HK$188 is highly recommended and has smoked salmon salad, French goose-liver pate and Orange duck breast as options for mains and comes with ice-cream for dessert. Another good dish is the Red Wine Lamb chop. The red wine marinade makes the lamb melt in your mouth! Wine here is only around $250 to 300 per bottle. Le Fauchon in Elgin is approximately 1/3 the price of the Staunton Street location and makes it affordable to more of us. Full of street art, the atmosphere here is warm and enjoyable.
